One day a man working in the Internet marketing space decided to take a trek to see something new.

Arrived safe in Oz

Not that I had any doubt about a safe arrival, I knew they would fix engine #4 and get us underway, even if we did sit on the tarmac in SFO for over an hour before we were allowed to leave.

The flight was uneventful, but I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service that Qantas offers, even in economy seating. We had seatback entertainmetn systems with on-demand games, movies, music TV and more. We were also each furnished with wet towels, an in-flight welcome package of travel socks, sleeping mask and toothpaste/brush, two fine meals and a nice little snack pack with some sweets and granola bars. Overall a fine way to spend 15 hours cramped into a tiny seat.
